University Lutheran Chapel is a place where you can join with other students from the U of M, Augsburg, Macalester, Concordia, St. Thomas, St. Catherine, and other Twin Cities' colleges and universities to:

ULC has great facilities for you to use as a student or member. In addition to the chapel itself, there are plenty of quite places to study or pray during the week. We also have a game/rec room with foosball, ping-pong, and other parlour games for when you are looking for a little fun. And there is the newly renovated Löhe library and lounge where you can find books for indepth study on just about any theological subject, or can just hang out and have a cup of good coffee with other ULCers, or relax in a cozy chair by the fireplace. We hope you'll take adavantage of all ULC has to offer and will make the Chapel your home base here at the U of M.

The Game Room at ULC
University Lutheran Chapel is located on the corner of 11th Ave SE & University Ave SE just across from Sanford Hall, and only two blocks from Interstate 35W. (See map at the bottom of this page.)
The chapel and student center are normally open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.

From the North and South
Take 35W to the University Ave. exit. The chapel is on the corner of University and 11th Ave. SE.
From the East and West
Take 94 to the Huron St. exit. Take Huron to University. Turn left. Follow the curve. It will turn into 4th St. SE. Turn left on 11th Ave. SE. The chapel is on the corner of University and 11th Ave. SE.
Visit the MetroTransit Website to plan your route. Bus routes 2 and 6 both stop near ULC. Several other buses will get you to the U of M and close enough to walk to the Chapel or to transfer to the 2 or 6.
University Lutheran Chapel is offering free rides to and from church each Sunday (when the U of M is in session). Easy to identify shuttle vehicles will meet students at Middlebrook, the Superblock and CSP.
Please note there will be no shuttle service over Thanksgiving Weekend or during the Christmas Break.
