About Our Liturgy
By David A. Kind
About Our Liturgy gives a historical, theological and practical survey of the historic western liturgy of the Divine Service as it is conducted in the Lutheran Church. Written out of a pastoral concern that congregations learn to appreciate not just the aesthetics, but also the profound meaning of liturgical worship, this little book tells how the liturgy proclaims the Gospel of salvation as it directs to the places where Christ is present in His Church with His blessings and grace. About Our Liturgy is an invaluable tool for both pastors and laypeople who long to grow in their understanding and appreciation of the Church’s worship.

Didache
By John T. Pless
Didache is a catechetical study guide developed by Professor Pless for use in adult catechesis. Shaped by the joy and challenges of teaching the faith during his many years as campus pastor at the U of M and his two years as a campus ministry vicar at Valparaiso University, Didache is based upon the three chief catechetical texts of the Church: the Scriptures, the Small Catechism, and the Hymnal. Over the years Didache has become the curriculum of choice in adult catechesis for dozens of confessionally minded pastors throughout the U.S. and beyond.

The Office of the Holy Ministry and the Ordination of Women
By George F. Wollenburg
This fine essay was delivered by Dr. Wollenburg at A Day of Theological Response held at University Lutheran Chapel in 1990. The conference was held in response to a pro-women's ordination conference, Different Voices, Shared Vision, held the previous year at Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Dr. Wollenburg's essay provides a clear exposition of the scriptural case for the exclusion of women from the Office of the Holy Ministry.
