General Announcements
SAINTS GAME BBQ/TAILGATE PARTY: Join us for our annual Spring BBQ, this time with a bit of a twist. Instead of BBQing at ULC, we will be tailgating at the St. Paul Saints’ game. Tickets for the game are $6 in will include an onfield picture of our whole group. Its this Friday, May 9, 5 PM. Please sign up for your tickets in the chapel narthex by the coffee machine, or email Jason Sloan.

SATURDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY: This Saturday we will be at the Bauer’s for Saturday Evening Bible Study. We will continue our discussion of the Didache and the Epistle of Polycarp of Smyrna.
ALTAR GUILD: Our meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. Current Guild members, please bring a list of dates you won’t be available in June and July. Thank you!
GRADUATING OR MOVING? Will you soon be moving to a new area to take a job or to continue studies at another college or university? Please contact Pastor Kind for help finding a new church home and to let us know your new address so that we can keep in touch with you.
RUMMAGE SALE: Spring Cleaning time again? Get rid of clutter by donating your old furniture to ULC for our 6th Annual U of M furniture/rummage sale. Proceeds will be used to continue improving our student center and chapel (especially the art studio project and library). The sale will again be held the first weekend after classes begin in the Fall.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: VBS will be held early this year, June 16-20. Registration forms are now available on the narthex table. Please see Shaina if you would like to volunteer to help.
THRIVENT GIFT MATCHING: Thrivent has approved University Lutheran Chapel as a recipient organization for their “Giving Plus” program. Thrivent will match 50 cents for every dollar given to ULC by a Thrivent member up to a total match of $300! This does not apply to general offerings to ULC, but will apply to special gifts toward our campus ministry. Members must fill out a “gift form” which is available on the narthex table or from our website. See our Treasurer, Dennis Bauer, or Thrivent Congregational Coordinator, Steve Demlow, if you have any questions.
RIDES TO CHURCH: University Lutheran Chapel is offering free rides to and from church all year long. Easy to identify shuttle vehicles will meet students at Middlebrook, the Superblock and CSP.
CHOIR: We are seeking some new voices to join our choir. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. Please come and help us sing the praises of the Lord in His service. See choir director Carol Hasbargen if you have questions.

BULLETIN DEADLINES: Please submit items to be included in the Sunday bulletin by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday of the week preceding. This will help pastor greatly in getting the bulletins printed in a timely and cost-effective manner and keep the website up to date. Thanks!
